Description
You’ll love it because…
The Recoil Nova Gaming Metal Bunk with Futon is the ultimate space-saving solution for gamers and sleepers alike. Designed for both play and practicality, it offers a multifunctional setup that transitions from a comfortable bed to a stylish gaming space.
Features and Benefits
- Space-saving design – This versatile bunk bed provides a cosy sleeping area while incorporating a built-in futon for daytime lounging or gaming sessions.
- Two-person capacity – The top bunk fits a single mattress, while the bottom futon functions as a sofa by day and converts into a bed at night—ideal for sleepovers!
- Integrated storage – Built-in storage drawers keep gaming accessories, books, and clothes neatly organised, ensuring a clutter-free space.
- Durable and stylish – Crafted from a sturdy metal frame, this bed is designed for long-lasting stability. The sleek black and red finish adds a bold, modern touch to any gaming-themed bedroom.
- Safe and secure – High side rails on the top bunk enhance safety, while the strong ladder provides easy access to the upper level.
Good to Know
The bottom futon offers flexibility for both relaxation and sleeping arrangements, making it a great choice for smaller bedrooms or shared spaces. Assembly is required, so be sure to set aside some time for setup. For your child's safety, we strongly advise using a mattress no thicker than 15cm for the top bunk. All of our recommended mattresses, that you can add to your order, fit the bill.

Love this bed! I was worried about the mattress on the sofa bed been too thin but once we have it time to expand it's super comfy and my son loves it

Questions & Answers (8)
Answers from the bedkingdom team.
Is the futon included with the Recoil Nova Gaming Bunk Bed, and do I need a top mattress?
Yes, the black futon for the bottom part is included. The mattress for the top bunk is sold separately.
Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?
Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
Can the bunk bed be split into two single beds?
Only beds described as 'detachable' can be separated into individual beds. Other bunk and triple beds can't be split.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
Can I return an item if I change my mind, and how?
Yes. You have 14 days to cancel, and the item must be unassembled, unused and in its original packaging. Email [email protected] with your order number and photos of the item and boxes. You pay the return cost: send it back with an established courier (keep proof of postage), or ask us to collect it for €132, deducted from your refund. Hygiene-sealed products can't be returned once unsealed, and made-to-order items can't be returned unless faulty. See returns and cancellations.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free on orders over €250. Orders under €250 have a €50 delivery charge. See delivery information.
