Find your perfect bed: a 5-question quiz
Five quick questions: who sleeps in it, how big the room is, how much storage you need, the look you like and your budget. You'll get a recommended bed size (in feet and centimetres) and a shortlist of beds that are in stock for delivery in Ireland right now.
How the quiz decides
The quiz matches the bed size to the people sleeping in it and the space you have, then narrows the shortlist by storage, style and price. It only ever shows beds that are live and in stock on bedkingdom.ie, with today's prices.
- Size: one adult in a small room is usually best served by a 3ft single (90 × 190 cm); a typical double bedroom suits a 4ft6 double (135 × 190 cm) for one, or a 5ft king (150 × 200 cm) for two. Large rooms can take a 6ft super king (180 × 200 cm).
- Storage: "lots" points you to ottoman beds, where the whole base lifts up; "a little" includes beds with drawers too.
- If nothing matches every answer, the quiz loosens your budget first, then the look, then the storage type, and tells you which one it relaxed.

Common questions
Is a double bed big enough for two people?
A UK/Irish double mattress is 135 cm wide, which gives each person 67.5 cm, less than the 90 cm width of a single bed. Many couples are comfortable on a double, but if your room allows it a 5ft king (150 cm) gives you noticeably more space.
Do the quiz results include delivery?
The prices shown are the product prices. Delivery to the Republic of Ireland is free on orders of €250 or more; under €250, a €50 delivery charge applies. You will see the delivery charge in your basket before you pay.
Why does the quiz say it relaxed my budget?
We only show beds that are in stock today. If fewer than three beds match every answer, the quiz drops one filter at a time (budget, then look, then storage) so you still get useful suggestions, and it tells you which filter it dropped.
