Description
The Eddie is built for busy family homes that need to sleep three children without a standard stacked layout. Two bottom bunks sit side-by-side (each taking a small single mattress, 75 x 190cm), with a top bunk positioned above one of them (standard single, 90 x 190cm). A built-in staircase runs up one side, with integrated storage compartments in each step. Additional drawers sit at the footboard of each bottom bunk. Available in white or white/oak. Note: bottom bunks take small single mattresses (75 x 190cm), not standard singles - worth confirming before ordering mattresses. Mattresses are sold separately.

Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?
Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
Can the bunk bed be split into two single beds?
Only beds described as 'detachable' can be separated into individual beds. Other bunk and triple beds can't be split.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
What size mattress do I need for this bed?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (for example Single 90 x 190cm, Small Double 120 x 190cm), and some take continental sizes (for example 90 x 200cm), so please check before ordering a mattress elsewhere.
Does the bed come with a mattress?
Beds are sold without a mattress unless the listing says one is included. Mattresses are an optional add-on you can select on the product page.
