    Lovely bed overall - good value compared to IKEA equivalents. The only downside is the LED light bar is described as "LED Light Feature: Creates a warm, calming glow for bedtime and night-time reassurance" - but in reality is a cold/harsh white light that isn't suitable as a nightlight or for a child's bedroom.

Can you reverse the opening side, so it can be put against a different side wall?

Thanks for asking! Unfortunately, the Wilbur isn't designed to have its opening side reversed, so it will need to stay in its original orientation against the wall.

How is the LED light on the Flair Wilbur Montessori Bed powered?

The LED light is USB-operated, so it connects to a USB power source; it doesn't use batteries or need charging.

What is the weight limit of this bed?

Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.

How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?

It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.

What size mattress do I need for this bed?

Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (for example Single 90 x 190cm, Small Double 120 x 190cm), and some take continental sizes (for example 90 x 200cm), so please check before ordering a mattress elsewhere.

Does the bed come with a mattress?

Beds are sold without a mattress unless the listing says one is included. Mattresses are an optional add-on you can select on the product page.
