Description
Getting more from a smaller bedroom doesn’t have to mean compromise. The Flair Luca Single Mid Sleeper gives your child a comfortable place to sleep and a proper place to put their things, all in one well-thought-out piece. Two full 3-drawer chests sit neatly beneath the sleeping platform, and a four-cubby open shelving unit sits at the head of the bed for books and everyday bits. Available in White & Oak or all-White, the ribbed panel detailing brings a contemporary feel that works with most bedroom styles.
Key Features
- Two Matching 3-Drawer Chests: Placed under the base of the bed, giving you 6 deep drawers in total for clothes, toys and all the essentials that need a proper home.
- Four Open Cubbies: Ideal for books, baskets or bedroom bits that need to stay within easy reach.
- Ribbed Panel Detailing: A white or warm oak-effect finish, complemented by crisp white framing for a modern, considered look.

- Safety Guardrails: On all sides of the sleeping platform for added peace of mind at night.

Questions & Answers (8)
Answers from the bedkingdom team.
What size mattress does the Flair Luca Mid Sleeper take?
It takes a standard UK single mattress (90 x 190 cm). The mattress isn't included, so you'll need to add one separately.
Can the staircase be fitted on the right-hand side?
The staircase is fixed to the left-hand side only and can't be switched. It's worth checking your room layout before ordering to make sure that side has clear access.
Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?
Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
Can the bunk bed be split into two single beds?
Only beds described as 'detachable' can be separated into individual beds. Other bunk and triple beds can't be split.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
What size mattress do I need for this bed?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (for example Single 90 x 190cm, Small Double 120 x 190cm), and some take continental sizes (for example 90 x 200cm), so please check before ordering a mattress elsewhere.
