The Lino has a modern ribbed exterior with cut-out windows that give it a house-like look without over-the-top styling - a good option if your child wants something different but the room has a grown-up feel. The raised single sleeping area (90 x 190cm) sits above an open, versatile under space suited to imaginative play, a reading corner, or a small desk setup. Available in four colours: navy blue, pink,oak, white and pink. Suitable for children from around age 6. A mattress is not included; a standard single fits the frame.

What mattress depth can I use on the Flair Lino Playhouse Mid Sleeper?

The upper bunk is suitable for mattresses 12-20 cm thick, so a 16 cm mattress (such as the Maxitex Kids Deluxe Pocket Sprung) is within the recommended range.

Can the Flair Lino Playhouse Mid Sleeper be built with the stairs on the opposite side?

No, the ladder is not reversible; it can only be assembled as shown in the photos.

Can the space underneath be used to put another mattress?

Yes, absolutely! The space underneath the Flair Lino Playhouse Mid Sleeper is very versatile. While it is often used as a play zone or reading nook, you can certainly put another mattress on the floor underneath if you’d like. It’s also a great spot for bean bags, cushions, or storage bins to help create your child's ideal play area. For your reference, the underbed clearance height is approximately 91 cm, which provides plenty of headroom for sitting and playing.

Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?

Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.

What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?

The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).

What is the weight limit of this bed?

Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.

Can the bunk bed be split into two single beds?

Only beds described as 'detachable' can be separated into individual beds. Other bunk and triple beds can't be split.

How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?

It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
